Dr. Jan Gillespie is not only an accomplished anesthesiologist but also a pioneer in pain management. She has extensive experience performing spine procedures using fluoroscopy and is known for her multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Her leadership roles include serving as the president and medical director for the Northern Colorado Individual Practice Association (NCIPA) and Colorado IPA, organizations that support hundreds of healthcare providers in Colorado.

Dr. Gillespie’s commitment to advancing medical care extends beyond her practice. She founded the Systems of Care Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing advanced care planning for the Northern Colorado community. Her efforts in healthcare policy have led to significant contributions, such as advocating for Senate Bill 19-073, which established a statewide registry for Advance Care Directives in Colorado.

More About Dr. Jan Gillespie:

Dr. Gillespie has been a dedicated member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) for 15 years and has held various leadership roles within the Colorado Society of Anesthesiologists and the Northern Colorado Medical Society. She is also the founder and president of CPS Healthcare Solutions, LLC, providing administrative services to medical practices and non-profit organizations.

Together with her husband, Robert Wagner, Dr. Gillespie owns Gene Check, a biotech company specializing in genetic testing for animals. They live on a cattle and sheep ranch in northern Colorado, where they also train and trial border collies.
