Medical Weight Loss
in Greeley.
Personalized medication-assisted weight management with ongoing physician oversight. Your plan begins with a medical evaluation and is adjusted over time based on your health, response and individual goals.
Medication selection and follow-up are based on clinical evaluation rather than a one-size-fits-all program.
When weight loss needs a medical approach.
Weight management is influenced by appetite, metabolism, health history, medications and many other individual factors. For appropriate patients, prescription medication can become one part of a medically supervised weight-management plan.
At NoCo MedSpa, your program starts with a consultation and medical assessment. Dr. Gillespie reviews your history, current health and goals before determining whether medication-assisted treatment may be appropriate.
Your history, current health and weight-management goals are reviewed before treatment.
Prescription selection depends on your clinical profile and medical appropriateness.
Medication and dosing may be adjusted based on your response and tolerability.
Regular appointments help track progress and address questions or concerns.
The right medication depends on the patient.
NoCo's current weight-management program may use prescription medications such as semaglutide, tirzepatide or phentermine when medically appropriate.
Semaglutide
Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist. Medications in this class can affect appetite, fullness and gastric emptying and may be used for chronic weight management in appropriately selected patients.
Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide acts on GIP and GLP-1 receptors and may be considered for appropriate patients as part of a medically supervised weight-management plan.
Phentermine
Phentermine is a prescription appetite suppressant that may be used in selected patients when medically appropriate and after review of relevant health risks and contraindications.
Evaluate. Treat. Adjust.
Medication-assisted weight management is not simply receiving a prescription and disappearing for several months. Ongoing monitoring lets your provider assess your response, tolerability and continued suitability for treatment.
Discuss your health history, previous weight-loss efforts, medications and goals.
Dr. Gillespie evaluates whether medication is appropriate and which option may fit your clinical profile.
Follow-up visits are used to review progress, tolerability and whether changes are needed.
A prescription is only part of the program.
Dr. Jan Gillespie provides medical oversight throughout the weight-management process. Follow-up visits are used to evaluate your progress, medication response and any concerns that arise during treatment.
Weight-loss medications can have side effects, contraindications and interactions, which is why your health history and ongoing response matter when determining whether treatment should continue or change.

Medical management — not a group diet program.
NoCo's current program focuses primarily on medical evaluation, prescription treatment and follow-up. It does not currently include a structured group program or comprehensive behavioral coaching program.
Patients should continue to work with their regular healthcare professionals when additional nutrition, behavioral-health, exercise or specialty medical support is needed.
Weight goals are only one part of body composition.
NoCo also offers Emsculpt NEO® for appropriate patients interested in muscle conditioning and body-contouring goals. It is a separate treatment from the medical weight-loss program, but the two services may be discussed together when relevant to your overall goals.
